Yes. The backrest folds down onto the seat, and the rear wheels come off with a quick-release axle. This keeps each piece lighter and easier to lift than a typical X-brace folding chair. Because the frame has fewer moving parts, it doesn't flex during propulsion, so more of the user's energy goes into forward motion. The frame is also stronger and lasts longer than an X-brace design.
