Why Wildebeest?
Wildebeest is Springbok's tougher sibling, built for users who need to move confidently over rough or uneven ground. Its longer wheelbase (530 mm, versus 395 mm on Springbok) and larger front casters (200 x 50 mm) make it easier to roll over obstacles, while an adjustable center of gravity lets each user fine-tune balance and push efficiently for their terrain.
It carries the same durability standards as Springbok, including the ISO 7176 double drum test and ISWP Caster Test, and is CE MDR, TGA, and JIS registered. Despite the extra ruggedness, Wildebeest still folds down with quick-release rear wheels for transport, so it doesn't trade portability for off-road strength.
For distributors and NGOs working in rural or less-resourced regions, Wildebeest is the answer when a user's daily terrain (gravel, grass, dirt paths) makes a standard wheelchair fail within months.
