Why Pony
Pony's modular design allows one wheelchair to support many different users through interchangeable accessories and simple adjustments. In production since 2018, over 200,000 units of Ponys have been produced and used globally.
Pony is built to last. It passes over 400,000 cycles on the ISO 7176 double drum test, double the standard requirement of 200,000 cycles. That's what "Double Double Durability" means: a frame tested to outlast the demands of daily use, wherever it's used.
Pony also uses common hardware, bolts, and bearings that are easy to find and replace almost anywhere, making it easy to service in low-resource settings and community-based rehabilitation programs. Participant supports local refurbishing with a wide range of parts.
With the Basic Plus accessory system, Pony supports a full range of postural support needs, from trunk and pelvic positioning to pressure relief, so one chair can adapt as a user's needs change.
