In honour of #InternationalWheelchairDay (March 1st) we wanted to celebrate by sharing the positive story of Karim and his Cub wheelchair that has been supporting him to live a more inclusive and fulfilling life. Karim's story is just one example of the positive and transformative power of #AssistiveTechnology. Karim’s Success Story: A Long Term Field Trial of a New Folding Supportive Pediatric Wheelchair
Following the World Health Organization’s call for manufacturers to offer affordable assistive products, Participant developed the Cub to fill a widely acknowledged product gap. Cub is a modular, folding, tilt-in-space wheelchair with a full range of postural support devices and good all-terrain performance.
